State Farm Insurance Penalized

I was very happy to see late last month that State Farm lost the lawsuit that were brought against them by many families they refused to help after tornadoes ripped down their homes.

Judge and jury awarded the families millions and penalized State Farm Insurance. Among the plaintiffs complaints is that State Farm hired Texas-based Haag Engineering to come in Oklahoma and check out the damage the hurricanes caused and value them.

Instead they said that Haag undervalued the damage and wrote off other’s saying that it was caused by faulty workmanship and not the tornado. Unfortunately this is a very common practice all over. Even though a category 4 hurricane blew through here, were sure it didn’t damage your home, we think it fell over all by itself. And your car just drove up that tree.
