Microsoft and its antitrust suits
September 27, 2009
If you live in the European Union, you may have noticed that ‘N’ versions of Microsoft Windows software have surfaced, without certain features such as Windows Media Player or Windows Internet Explorer 7/8. This is due to European Union consumer watchdogs raising concerns about the problems in competitive practice law that this may throw up. Previously the European Union has fined Microsoft over a billion dollars due to anticompetitive activity and has no doubt been subject to other questioning in other parts of the world. This is the reason for the surfacing of the ‘N’ versions: Microsoft, through the inclusion of its Windows Media Player and Windows Internet Explorer programs in its operating systems, has been taking an unfair slice of the market share of media players and web browsers. Microsoft has since promised to offer a range of internet browsers upon installation of its operating systems, a move which will no doubt please European Union anti-competition watchdogs and provide consumers with a much wider choice when browsing the Internet and listening to music, radio shows, podcasts and watching television shows and movies. Hopefully this choice is extended to other parts of the world where the action was not as a result of intervention by the government!
The Post Office
July 16, 2009
For the last couple of months, the mail has been moving too slow. Last month I called my credit card company, because the check I had written out more than a week before was not cashed. Today I had to call my bank, because the check I wrote out over a week ago was not received yet.
This is very upsetting. I am very old fashioned in that I like to do things by mail, but I don’t want to have my checks arriving late. How can the post office get away with this. When I called my bank this morning they told me that this has been an ongoing problem for a few months now. So if you are paying by mail, make sure you mail way in advance, and call to see if your check is received. They raise the price of stamps, and cut the quality of service - not right.
class action suits.
June 3, 2009
Myself and my husband ,we actively participate in the stock market.During 2000 to 2002 a few stocks of ours become worthless. the share holders of these stocks filed class action suits. We used to get lot of materials by mail, asking us to fill up information about how many shares we had and how much loss we occured. But my husband never fills any of them. He says even if we win the case, after the legal fees , we don’t get that much. So he thinks that it is waste of time.I don’t know whether his decision is right or wrong.

Is the Indian Railways a big scam?
January 27, 2009
Our newspapers have recently been filled with the fantastic, fabulous and marvelous news that the Indian Railways are actually making some profit. They said the new railway minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav is the matermind behind this. Last week when i went to the railway station to get a ticket to Coimbatore, where my uncle lived, I was amazed by the subsidised ticket charges! It was rs 155 (about $3.5)the previous month and now its just rs 98($2)!!
No sector in India, roadways, airways or waterways, has ever subsidised the ticket charges. I was impressed. May God bless Lalu Prasad Yadav.
But how? I’m sure that passengers have not increased at all. Then Lalu must have used magic. not likely, he’s from Bihar, the poverty striken state in our country.
The point is, that idi** cut off the funds for maintenance and used it for other purposes! There was one incident when one poor guy wanted to go for toilet, and the moment he entered the toilet, the iron floor simply went down. The train was running and the poor guy went down and his soul went up! Are we ready to risk our lives in exchange for a petty subsidise in the rates? NO! And Lalu Prasad Yadav must know, we are an educated people here, unlike the dump ass guys in Bihar who voted him in. So we want better treatment and floors that wont go down under our feet. Just imagine how it would be to see large holes in a moving train? Next time I go for Coimbatore, I’m going to take the bus. I dont know when the wheels of the train i’m in is going t simply break away.
So mr.Lalu, Be careful!!

January 4, 2009
We have already know the function and benefit of vitamin and protein , also you still remember that protein come from animal and plantation , there is many source of protein and vitamin. Soy protein is emerging as one of the great alternative protein sources for human consumption. Health experts are all excited about how soy protein can change the face of nutrition. What’s all the rage? Here are some great reasons to get with soy protein.
Soy Protein is Plant Protein
Soy beans contain complete protein and have one of the best protein digestibilities among all protein sources. Soy beans also contain little or no fat and have virtually no cholesterol. Lactose intolerant ones will be pleased to know that soy beans contain no lactose.
Being a plant protein, soy is free from steroids and antibiotics animal protein contains. It is also free from the parasites that contaminate some of these products. They also contain none of the diseases one can contract from mean sources such as Mad Cow Disease, and Foot and Mouth Disease.
Vegetarians love this bean as it provides a comparable – if not better – source of protein as compared to its animal counterpart. It provides a protein that is better and easier to digest and is comparable to most protein supplements.
Lets make soy protein as one of our source vitamin in our body, dont ever thing that is useless. make health with consume soy.
